Atomizer diffusers have been around for centuries, they are a very popular item as they do not need batteries to function or electrical power to operate. There are many different styles of these that you can get, the most basic one is a bottle with a spray component. You add in the carrier oil and essential oil and spritz air with it when needed.
Ultrasonic DiffusersUsing ultrasonic diffusers work really great especially when you want to combine aromatherapy benefits of diffusing with the benefits of a humidifier. With this type of diffuser, you get the benefits of both of these components with one device. These devices can break up the essential oils into millions of tiny micro-particles and then they can disperse them into the air.
Cold Air Fan
Using a cool air fan to diffuse your essential oils is very simple. You add a few drops of your essential oils onto a pad allowing the fan to blow cool air over the pad and dispersing the essential oils into the air.
There are candle diffusers that are very simple and easy to use to diffuse your essential oils. You may decide to purchase candles that have already been diffused with the essential oils or you can make them yourself. You can use plain unscented beeswax candles. Allow the candle to burn for a few moments. Then blow out the candle and place a single drop of your essential oil in the candles melted wax and then relight the candle. You can also use a special dish that holds the essential oil in it while underneath you place the candle. The heat from the candle heats the dish up and diffuses the essential oil into the air. You need to remember to use caution when you are using essential oils and candles as the oils are highly flammable.
Lamp Ring Diffusers
You can find lamp ring diffusers that are often made from terracotta or brass. You place these types of diffusers directly onto a light bulb. In the lip of them, you place a few drops of essential oils. The heat from the light will heat up the essential oil and disperse it into the air.
